Stars of Stairway to Heaven
After the phenomenon series "Lovers in Paris" brought us "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN"...
Like LIP, this koreanovela again catch the attentions of Filipino's.( thought nothing compare to the love the Filipino's showed to LIP...)
Like any other melodrama, this story opens with two childhood friends: Cha Song Joo - CHOLO CHA (Kwon Sang-woo) and Han Jung Suh - JODIE HAN (Choi Ji-woo). However, as Jodie's father remarries, her new stepmother Tae Mira, brings her two children along, Han Tae Hwa - TRISTAN (Shin Hyun-joon) and Han Yuri - UNICE (Kim Tae-hee). An introvert, Tristan is touched by Jodie's kindness towards him and gradually falls in love with her. On the other hand, Jodie and Cholo have an inseparable relationship. At the same time, Unice also likes Cholo. So you can see that there's pretty complicated relationship triangle, or rather, rectangle here.
The show than fast-forwards years later, when the children have all grown up. However, due to a freak car accident, Jodie is run over by Unice's car, which leaves her suffering from memory loss and living with Tristan under a pseudonym. Cholo is devastated, but never forgets about Jodie even though the irritating Unice tries at all times to get his attention. When the lovers finally reunite, another cruel misfortune occurs...
Like Autumn Fairy Tale, this story also depicts two children who grew up together and become lovers. Kwon Sang-woo is captivating as Song Joo (Cholo Cha). In fact, the media reported that Kwon shed so much tears in one of the scenes of the show that even the production crew became teary. In fact, this seems to be his best production to date, having acted in pretty minor roles before. Choi Ji-woo is also charismatic in her role as Han Jung Suh (Jodie Han). However, it seems like she has become so fixated in playing pathetic, damsel in distress roles (recall: Beautiful Days, Truth, Winter Sonata) that it is becoming numbing for the audience to see her in such pitiful renditions.
However, it was refreshing to see Shin Hyun-joon who played the role of Han Tae-hwa/Han Chul-su (Tristan Han) in dramas again. Taking a five year hiatus in drama productions to concentrate on his movie career, there have been significant changes in his acting style, becoming more mature and in-depth in his character portrayal. Another actress Kim Tae-hee, who plays the evil Yuri (Unice), failed to impress with her bad-girl impersonation. Going by the same few expressions, Kim clearly shows her weakness in portraying the inner feelings of Han Yuri, especially since the four main characters in the drama focus a lot on inner feelings. Lee Wan could be said to have brought in a breath of fresh air. Acting as the younger Tae Hwa(Tristan), Lee Wan is considered one of the most prominent up-and-coming actors to look out for. In fact, he is Kim Tae-hee's(Unice in the series) brother in real life.
To conclude, Stairs to Heaven is typical Korean melodrama. Unless you are a big fan of Kwon Sang-woo or Choi Ji-woo, you would most probably find this story boring, since the storyline has been used in so many other high profile drama productions before. this day sux. our prof. re2rned the test result and it was a bit depressing, i mean it wasnt that bad but somehow, i wasn't satisfied with it....and our f**l prof. is annoying as usual, but i was glad we didnt have to stay longer with her today....well, that's it 4 2day, got nothing more in mind.....

Chad Murray in Cinderella Story...
I just saw "A cinderella Story" by Hillary Duff and Chad Micheal Murray yesterday. Chad was cute and handsome as usual! and hilary was as cut and dashing as ever...the story was good and me and my sis enjoyed watching it.
In my opinion the story could of been stretch some more to emphasize some happenings, I mean things happened fast in the story...so medyo bitin....
Both Chad and Hillary did a good job portraying their characters in the movie.
This is a must see movie for all girlssss!!!!! I highly recommend this!!! For those who haven't seen this yet, grab a copy now!! Chad was sooo great.....you'll see a different side of him in this movie..His character here is more close in his role in "1Tree Hill"...
